Gallup New Mexico's premiere ballooning event!
I wasn't able to attend the 2006 Red Rock Balloon Rally and could have kicked myself since all three days were reported "perfect for ballooning"! Then in 2007 I was in training at Continental Airlines and missed the event again (unfortunately that year the weather didn't cooperate, so It would have been a bust either way). Finally, in 2008 I made the necessary arrangements to attend the rally and crossed my fingers the wind would avoid the canyons of Gallup, NM. With the exception of the Friday night glow the weekend was a success. FINALLY!
