Framed images from the website.
My collection of original signed and framed prints keep growing... As seen by all the clutter in my studio! This photo was taken late one evening as I was letting my 20 X 70" Albuquerque balloon canvas "Race Day" (image on the floor) dry after I had applied a protective finishing coat to its surface.
NOTE:
The hue, saturation, and tonal range of the images displayed on this site will not be accurate due to the limitations of your computer monitor. Some colors may even appear "washed-out", overly bright and even unnatural looking due to the limited color gamut of web-based JPG images. These color errors are further magnified by older CRT/LCD displays.
Needless to say, to fully appreciate the clarity and detail of my prints you must view them in person!
The next eight images represent a sampling of my "Collector Series" custom framed and signed prints.
Sizes from 11 X 16.5" to 20 X 30" are available in this collection. I have spent the time color-coordinating the mattes and frames with these photos so you don't have to.
A favorite of viewers, "
Mystical Eden" has so many colors and textures that a more simplistic mat/frame approach was needed to keep harmony within the image itself. A heavy looking dark silver frame helps weigh this image perfectly.

"
Desolate Desert" is shown here in an amazing tri-matte display.
Picking up subtle image colors is the primary job of any mat... Sometimes a nice clean single or double white mat works well too.
Further within my gallery section you can find these same prints shown as a CANVAS print without a border or as a white double matted image enclosed with a black metal frame. The possibilities are endless.

"
Keyhole in Time" was a very demanding print to matte and frame. After much effort the decision was made to use the frame itself to bring out the inner matte colors. An extra bevel was cut into the outer mat to help break-up the transition between print and frame.
NOTE:
All images in the gallery section of my website are photographs of ACTUAL framed images. These images are available as presented or customized to your needs. All of my prints are protected by UV quality glass which helps to ensure color fidelity for many years to come.

"
Arizona Light" is a favorite of many who view it in person. Many
interpretations can be made from the shaft-of-light entering the
canyon. By using tri-colored mat this print has been set apart from the standard double matted frame.
The outer mat appears to be solid white in color, however upon closer examination this beautifully textured mat helps off-set the rich brown frame and second mat.

I had always been an admirer of "
Marbled Sky", however after seeing it encased in a rich oak frame I can't keep my eyes off this beautiful print.
It never ceases to amaze me how much the mat/frame combination can make or break a photograph.

"
Sentinels of Time" may appear to have an overly bluish color cast on
some computer monitors, yet the actual print displays perfectly. The starch-white hoodoos tower over the barren landscape.
Since perspective is difficult without a reference, object size can be deceiving... A person is only slightly taller than the cap stone which sits atop the tallest hoodoo.

"
Zebra Dreams" was another difficult image to mat/frame. The overall purple hue did not need to be complimented the way "Forgotten Keyhole" was. The gray tones actually helped enhance the purple striping along the slot canoyon's walls. A beveled cut was added to break-up the monotone feel to the outer mat.

Pictured here is the print: "
Autumn Cascades".
As mentioned earlier, all of the previous eight images can be seen with various mat/frame/canvas combinations if you decide to look further within this section of my website.
Please feel free to contact me about these or any images you would like more information about.

Pictured next to Keith at
K&M Gallery is a 20X30" canvas print of Moraine Lake, near Banff Canada, named "
Winter's Reprieve".
Since it's so hard to envision how an image will look before being framed I've asked various people to pose next to my work to help show you their size and quality.
