New York City.
During late August 2008 I decided to check out some of the sights around NYC. I was using this opportunity to scout around for future shots... Many locations I have discovered will require finding an elevated vantage point.
This photo and the next were created using High Dynamic Range photographic techniques (HDR). HDR entails using multiple exposures to capture both the shadow and highlight range of a mid-day image. Both images were HAND HELD! Normally I would not recommend this technique (hand holding a multi-exposure sequence of images) however, automotive and pedestrian traffic precluded me from using a tripod.
