eXacteXposure > Here you see the rare photo of me in the field.  Joe decided to sneak around a hoodoo as I was setting up for my next shot.  The lighting in this photo is poor, but Joe had no other choice since I wanted the sun at my back (his front... which normally is terrible for photos, but this exposure acutually didn't turn out half bad).

eXacteXposure > Temperatures can vary more than 40F within a few hours after sunrise!  Calm, brisk mornings which require a heavy jacket transform into warm, windy sand blown afternoons... clouds form low along the horizon because of the heat generated off the sand and rocks.  During winter clear skies can last for weeks due to the lack of any moisture… needless to say the green you see is not from healthy vegetation, rather composts of material laid down millions of years ago.
